Projecting People will be bound by applicable terms of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct Regulations, unless you provide services via a company and you and your company have agreed to opt out of the application of the Conduct Regulations and/or you and your company do not act for and under the control of Projecting People's client(s) when providing services via Projecting People Limited.

    What is GDPR?

    The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will become law on 25th May 2018 and will impact how personal data is collected and processed by companies. At Projecting People Limited we are currently in the process of enhancing our existing data protection systems and processes in order to meet the new GDPR standards.

    What is Personal Data? Personal data refers to any information or expression of opinion that may allow an individual to be identified, for example, their name, address, gender etc. The term data refers to any digital, automated data or manual information gathered by a company.

    What Personal Data does Projecting People Limited gather? 

    Projecting People Limited will only gather personal data that is necessary for the purposes of recruitment and consultancy services. Personal data will generally only be collected directly from you. However, sometimes we may collect your personal data from CV Search databases and professional networks e.g. LinkedIn.     How will Projecting People Limited use your Personal Data?

    Your data will be used for matching skill sets and suitability for our clients resourcing requirements, ongoing communications and for optional marketing communications. Your data may be communicated to selected third parties (our clients) with your permission in order to progress your interest, for example, to identify if your skills and experience match their resource requirements. Projecting People Limited aim to ensure that these third parties have sufficient data security measures in place when handling your data, and our monitoring of these measure will be enhanced according to our GDPR processes.

    How is Personal Data stored at Projecting People Limited?

    Projecting People Limited have existing physical, technical and organisational systems in place to ensure the safeguarding of personal client data which are being enhanced in line with GDPR recommendations. Personal data in physical and digital formats is stored in data centre locations within the UK and Ireland. Personal data stored in marketing software platforms or email archives may be stored in our off-site hosting centre, however these are compliant with GDPR and privacy shield frameworks. Projecting People Limited have adopted strict confidentiality and data protection policies in relation to your data which all staff must adhere to and acknowledge annually.

    How long do you keep my personal data?

    The General Data Protection Regulation states that personal data must be kept “no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed” We will keep your data until such time as you no-longer wish for us to contact you with consultancy, contract or permanent placement opportunities.
