Who are we?

We have worked in the IT industry for the last 20 years. During this time we have worked with 100’s of recruitment agencies and recruited 100’s of skilled personnel. Our Team includes Prince2 practitioners, ITIL certified managers, Agile Scrum Certified Managers and Trainers, and CISSP qualified InfoSec professionals, who and have hands-on experience in senior level roles for some of Europe's most successful businesses.
Projecting people was founded to provide the benefit of our experience in finding top quality candidates for our clients. We have seen the Good, the Bad and the Very Ugly and felt there was a need to create a recruitment consultancy run by specialists. We can tell a Planner from a PM or a Leader from a badge collector. All of our candidates are pre-screened and undergo an intensive vetting process. Only the very best will be presented to our valued clients.

How it all started...

Quite simply, the world of recruitment agencies and resourcing has changed. It’s changed a lot and not in a good way.

The UK now has the largest number of recruitment businesses in the world by population. Setting up a recruitment agency was seen as a way to make a quick few quid with low start-up costs and as a result we now have over 10,000 of them.

This rapid growth has diluted the industry and moved it away from the good old days where clients had a relationship with a specialist recruitment consultant. They would be an expert in their field and understand the needs of their client’s business to such an extent that they would act as an extension of their recruitment team. They would leave no stone unturned to find the ideal candidate and would only recommend the best people.

We live in a world now where recruitment firms are playing a numbers game. They employ the lowest cost recruiters to get a high volume of CVs to clients before one of the other 9,999 agencies get there first.

During our vast experience of senior IT management, we have dealt with hundreds of agencies and appointed thousands of people. We realised that the impersonal service most agencies are providing are falling short of what many organisations expect when trying to increase their efficiency by outsourcing recruitment.

We are different. We’re very different. We are specialists in the industries we operate in. We have hands-on experience of leading large-scale programmes in software development, infrastructure, and service management.

Our skills give us the ability to challenge candidates on a technical and a personal level to ensure that only the perfect people are being presented to our clients.
